Home for the Holidays Quilt

Home for the Holidays Quilt

I. Love. Holiday. Quilts. There’s nothing quite as warm and comforting as a quilt showcasing those cozy Christmas vibes. Right now I am using up my favourite holiday fabrics to make one-of-a-kind heirloom quilts.... which I am affectionately calling "the one-of-a-kinders" because I will only be making ONE. This quilt features one of my favourite fabric designers, Maureen Cracknell of Art Gallery Fabrics. Behold...... Cozy & Magical!

The Cozy & Magical collection truly captures the festive feelings of Christmas. The prints feature cherished traditions like decorating the tree, wrapping presents, and baking gingerbread cookies. With a colour palette of pinks, evergreens and deep reds, it is so joyful!

I designed the Home for the Holidays quilt to showcase each fabric in a minimalistic style. It’s scrap-happy with a streamlined pattern, using negative space to highlight each “tree”. I love that line between modern and traditional, where the fabric can speak to my nostalgic side, while the pattern suits a more modern space.

Home for the Holidays will be available 04.11.23 to subscribers. Follow us on instagram to see the finished quilt this week! @charliebearquilts

Stolat everybody,

Karlyn
